I am having a fairly lowkey holiday weekend. On Friday and Sunday, I caught up with Little C and Phil at their place. I drank wine and flipped through their cross country drive photos. On Saturday, Eddie and I drove out to the 'burbs to see Jen, her hubby and Rosebud. Last night I met with a very dear friend of mine that I have known for 17 years at one of my favorite Italian restuarants in Andersonville. I could stand for it to be warmer, but otherwise, things feel pretty good. Eddie is not traveling this week, which is rare and wonderful and I have a lot of exciting work coming my way in the next few days.I hope whatever it is that you folks are doing today, it is peaceful, entertaining and/or relaxing. 2009 has banged us all up pretty good and we deserve a day now and then to just...be.

Becky, glad to hear that you are having a good weekend. I am still working on getting that info for you. I am also glad to hear that you had such an outstanding time across the pond. Are you going to get "Guitar Hero: The Beatles" to keep the British vibe going?
ReplyDeleteAs for Labor Day, I am over here on this grill, doing work with these like Hercules. (Rakim reference). If Eddie wants to come take BBQ 101 at the Smith house, tell him to holla at me.
KS- we are due for another lunch this month, no? I think we need to go to America's Dog - let me know what dates look good for you. Eddie may just ring you up for that promised "BBQ 101" class.
